Continental Drifts has produced the Lewisham People's Day event since 2006. We realise the council’s aspiration of creating an inclusive community event, work to a tight budget and create a safe environment for visitors and staff.

We work closely with the police and security teams to create a robust entry procedure and develop the emergency plans for the event. We pull together more than 150 community organisations at the event and generate income for the event via concessions and a funfair. The event features seven or more music and performance areas each year and attracts an audience of more than 20,000 people.
