Continental Drifts produced Bells Bollywood, one of the highlight pieces of the Mayor of London’s ‘Summer Like No Other’ programme as part of Festival 2012. This spectacular piece, a collaboration between Belgian company Theater Tol and UK dance group Akademi, featured angels suspended from an 80m crane while Kathak dance took place on a stage below.

"Continental Drifts produced the Bells Bollywood tour as a signature part of the Mayor of London's Summer Like No Other programme in 2012. Throughout the project, they navigated complex political, administrative and financial hurdles and coordinated councils who had, until this point, little experience or resource to deal with such a major undertaking. From licensing and performers through to Mother Nature and tonnes of confetti, Continental Drifts managed them all with aplomb."
