Xbox Kinect Launch

Continental Drifts created a high-energy performance on the Natural History Museum ice rink as part of the launch event for Microsoft's Xbox Kinect. The show was required to complement performances from Leona Lewis and The Wanted and to effectively represent the product. The lead time was extremely tight, with the whole show being turned around in 14 days.

A team of 16 competition-winning skaters were chosen to perform a specially choreographed routine which incorporated hip-hop and street dance elements as well as moves from gameplay. While solo skater Susanna Bureiko performed a stunning free skate for a change of pace. The result was perfectly balanced and totally in keeping with the brand.

“Thanks a million to all your team. The event was a great success, both our client JCPR and the end clients at Microsoft have mailed to say thank you and that they were over the moon with the show. A result all round!” Out of the Blue
