Mastercard PayPass

Continental Drifts pulled off a spectacular and logistically challenging installation for the launch of PayPass, MasterCard’s contactless card.

We devised and installed a large-scale printed graphic of 3D money across the whole of London's Millennium Bridge, working through the night to prepare for the early morning press launch. We negotiated with City of London and planned all related health and safety matters, including non-slip vinyl graphics. We created giant piggy banks which sat by the Tate Modern to collect money for local charity Coin Street Community Builders. And we hired promotional staff, positioned strategically to engage passing public.

The activity achieved wide PR coverage with photographs in every daily paper.

"A big, huge THANK YOU for all the work you and the team put in over Sunday/Monday. The bridge looked absolutely sensational and we really, really appreciate all the work that went on behind the scenes. MasterCard are thrilled and we got lots and lots of coverage." Helen Gaffney, Weber Shandwick
